With a nod to a friend and great listener these mugs were born. While chatting and creating in the studio together, problems were solved, new questions were asked and the creative energy was flowing. These were very much inspired by her paintings. There are just two to share. The abstract image was reverse painted on newsprint and transferred onto a slab of porcelain clay before being cut and assembled into a mug. The pattern wraps around one side of the mug and It is glazed in clear on the inside and out.
